I was working on a new blog page today and, frustratingly, the ‘custom template’ drop box disappeared from the WordPress page editing interface.
It took me a while to find the solution buried in a comment on someone’s blog post, so I thought I would post it here.

Hmmm. Tumbler. Will it be my personal blog choice?
I kind of hoped friend feed might be a good central hub to all things “Doug” but it’s not looking likely. Maybe tumbler? I’ll play for a bit and see. Sure is easy so far :-)
